This was an incredibly, high-impact project that showcased Roisin's adaptability, technical mastery, collaboration across departments and problem-solving under intense timelines.

This project reflects the designer’s multifaceted contributions to the NBC Universal Pictures production Cocaine Bear, where she was initially hired as an assistant sculptor or model maker and quickly became a core creative technician across multiple departments.

She was responsible for reupholstering and reconstructing an ambulance interior from flooring to stretchers while collaborating directly with the art department and prop teams. Her work extended to vehicle interiors, where she sourced, stripped, rebuilt and installed materials off-site under tight timelines.

Notably, she was part of the team that sculpted a large-scale polystyrene cave and constructed a large tree using silicone, jesmonite and a variety of other materials. She also carried out extensive dyeing and textile fabrication for both scenic and prop use developing hundreds of hessian bags to be submerged in natural bodies of water. This required close collaboration with Irish environmental agencies to ensure dye safety as well as with the greens department to achieve colour-matched finishes mimicking natural riverbeds.

Her responsibilities extended to designing sleeping bags, modifying and recreating parachutes, customising airplane interiors whilst liaising across departments including costume, props, standby art and production design. Almost every textile detail passed through her hands, blending functionality with cinematic storytelling.

This project highlights her precision, problem-solving and knowledge of textiles within high-pressure, interdisciplinary creative environments.
