Studio Work
Roisin is a multidisciplinary designer and maker with a strong foundation in textiles and printmaking combined with experience in the fashion and film industries. In recent years, she has established her own workshop and business, developing further technical skills and creative agility whilst being interested in materials and systems of making that respect both the environment and those that inhabit it.
Her current focus lies in expanding her materials knowledge particularly in glass and ceramics and exploring how traditional craft can intersect with contemporary innovation. She is especially drawn to research and development roles, where she can collaborate with diverse industries to solve material and sustainability challenges. Whether through her studio work, R+D or cross disciplinary collaborations, she brings a problem solving mindset, respect for heritage techniques and a commitment to thoughtful, responsible design.
She is actively seeking opportunities to connect with design studios, material researchers, professional industries and cultural organisations. She is open to collaborations, work that bridges various technical ability and innovation in Europe and, hopefully in time, globally.
